EMS Students Celebrate National Foreign Language Month
by EMS Moodle Admin - Monday, April 4, 2016, 11:02 AM

In honor of National Foreign Language, students in Mrs. Shay’s Spanish classes were invited to create and teach a lesson about their family’s culture. This year Mrs. Shay had seven volunteers! Throughout the month of March, students were exposed to the language and culture of Japan, Kosovo, Greece, Jamaica, and Brazil. Some of Mrs. Shay’s students were also exposed to Hebrew, German and American Sign Language. Hopefully these lessons will inspire these E.M.S. students to become world traveling multi-linguists!
